Whole Grass-Fed Lamb Share — Reservation Deposit
Bring home approximately 24–30 pounds of grass-fed lamb from Hundred Oaks Farm.
Price: $17/lb of packaged meat
Estimated total: $408–$510
Deposit: $150
A whole lamb gives you a broad mix of cuts and more flexibility to choose how your lamb is prepared, while still being a manageable amount of meat for most home freezers.
Typical cuts
Your whole lamb will include a broad mix such as:
Rib chops
Loin chops
Leg of lamb
Shoulder roast
Shanks
Ground lamb
With a whole share, you'll also be able to customize many of your processing choices, including options such as bone-in or boneless leg, shoulder roast or shoulder chops, stew meat, shanks, ground lamb, patties, bones, and other available cuts.
Because all of the cuts come from one animal, some choices affect what is available elsewhere. We'll send you the available cut options before processing and are happy to walk through them with you. If you'd rather keep it simple, you can also choose our recommended Hundred Oaks assortment and we'll take care of the decisions for you.
Your $150 deposit reserves your share and is applied toward your final balance. Your final total will be based on the actual packaged weight after processing.
Standard processing, vacuum packaging, labeling, and freezing are included. Certain specialty processing selections may carry an additional charge, which we'll confirm before processing.
Our Katahdin and Blackbelly Barbados sheep are raised outdoors on pasture at Hundred Oaks Farm. Our lamb is grass-fed, with no added hormones and no antibiotics.
Freezer space: A whole lamb is still fairly compact. It should fit in roughly one to two freezer drawers or a good portion of a standard refrigerator freezer. Most households will not need a dedicated freezer.
