About Us

We’re the Hundman family — Kyle, Kelly, Jack, Elle, and Frankie — and we started Hundred Oaks Farm in Geneva, Illinois.

It started with a few chickens and the hope of spending more time outdoors. Now it’s a small farm where we raise animals with care and share what we grow with our community.

How We Farm

Our cattle graze pasture. Our sheep and goats have access to pasture and forage, and we also feed them hay in their outdoor enclosure. Our Berkshire pigs root in a wooded area, and our chickens have outdoor space to scratch and forage. We provide shelter and supplemental feed according to each animal’s needs and the season.

We’re improving our fencing and grazing systems so we can move animals onto fresh ground more consistently and care for the land over time.

We’re not chasing volume or trying to be everywhere. We’d rather raise fewer animals and offer our meat to families who value how it’s produced.

Why We Do It

We started this farm for our kids, to give them space to explore, to learn where food really comes from, and to grow up close to nature..

But over time, it’s become something more: a way to connect people to honest food, good farming, and the land here in our community.
