About Us
We’re the Hundman family — Kyle, Kelly, Jack, Elle, and Frankie — and we started Hundred Oaks Farm just outside Geneva, Illinois.
It started with a few chickens and the hope of spending more time outdoors. Now it’s a small farm where we raise animals with care, keep the land healthy, and share what we grow with our community.
The old oaks that shade our pastures have stood here for generations. They remind us to take our time and do things the right way.
How We Farm
We raise our animals on open pasture, in fresh air, and with plenty of space to roam.
Our Berkshire pigs turn the soil as they graze through rotating paddocks, our Boer goats lend a hand clearing brush and reclaiming overgrown forest, and our chickens follow our hair sheep on the pasture, scratching, foraging, and fertilizing the land behind them.
It’s a simple, natural rhythm that keeps the land healthy and the animals happy.
We’re not chasing volume or trying to be everywhere. We’d rather raise fewer animals, the right way, and offer our meat to families who truly value how it’s produced.
Why We Do It
We started this farm for our kids — to give them space to explore, to learn where food really comes from, and to grow up close to nature.
But over time, it’s become something more: a way to connect people to honest food, good farming, and the land right here in our community.
If you’ve ever wanted to know your farmer — not just your grocery store — you’re in the right place.
Stay Connected
Hundred Oaks Farm isn’t a large operation — and that’s exactly how we like it. Each season, we offer a limited number of shares and small-batch boxes to families who want food they can feel good about.
Follow along to see what’s growing, when boxes open up, and what life looks like under the oaks.
Welcome to Hundred Oaks Farm.
