½ Berkshire Pork Share — Reservation Deposit

$200.00
sold out

Bring home approximately 55–65 pounds of pasture-raised Berkshire pork from Hundred Oaks Farm.

Price: $10/lb of packaged meat
Estimated total: $550–$650
Deposit: $200

A half hog gives you a generous mix of everyday pork staples and premium cuts, with more flexibility to choose how your pork is cut and processed.

Typical cuts

Your half hog will include a broad mix such as:

  • Pork chops

  • Bacon

  • Tenderloin

  • Ribs

  • Pork shoulder/butt roast

  • Breakfast sausage

  • Ground pork

With a half share, you'll also be able to customize many of your processing choices, including options such as chop thickness and package size, pork shoulder roasts or pork steaks, fresh or smoked ham options, sausage flavors, ground pork, patties, and other available cuts.

We'll send you the available cut options before processing and are happy to walk through them with you. If you'd rather keep it simple, you can also choose our recommended Hundred Oaks assortment and we'll take care of the decisions for you.

Your $200 deposit reserves your share and is applied toward your final balance. Your final total will be based on the actual packaged weight after processing.

Standard processing, vacuum packaging, labeling, and freezing are included. Certain specialty processing selections, including smoked products and some value-added options, may carry an additional charge, which we'll confirm before processing.

Our Berkshire pigs are raised outdoors on pasture at Hundred Oaks Farm with non-GMO feed, no added hormones, and no antibiotics. This batch will be finished on fall acorns.

Freezer space: A half hog will take up a large portion of a typical refrigerator freezer. Plan for roughly 2½–3 cubic feet of open freezer space. A separate freezer isn't always necessary, but it can be helpful if your main freezer is already fairly full.
