A quarter hog is an easy way to stock your freezer with a useful mix of pork without committing to a large amount of meat. You'll get a Hundred Oaks standard assortment designed to include both everyday staples and some of the best cuts from the animal.
Your share will include a mix such as:
Pork chops
Bacon
Tenderloin
Ribs
Pork shoulder/butt roast
Breakfast sausage
Ground pork, depending on available trim
Exact quantities and cuts will vary slightly with each animal.
Quarter shares use our standard Hundred Oaks assortment and are not individually customized. If you'd like to choose more of your own cuts and processing options, consider a half hog share.
Your $100 deposit reserves your share and is applied toward your final balance. Your final total will be based on the actual packaged weight after processing.
Standard processing, vacuum packaging, labeling, and freezing are included.
Our Berkshire pigs are raised outdoors on pasture at Hundred Oaks Farm with non-GMO feed, no added hormones, and no antibiotics.
Freezer space: A quarter hog will take up roughly one shelf or drawer in a standard refrigerator freezer, or about 1½–2 cubic feet. You usually do not need a separate freezer for this share, as long as you have a decent amount of open space.
